It's official, my babies have switched roles.
Candace has always been our more demanding and difficult baby. She has the milk & soy allergy, she was the one with colic, she was our sleep fighter, and she has always been the fussier one. Cassidy has always been the "easy" one. She would sleep anywhere, go to anyone, and hardly ever cried. Oh how the roles have changed!
Cassidy has now become our fussy baby and Candace is our happy baby! I think Candace will always be the louder and more persistent one, that is just her personality, she definitely has an opinion and will let you know it! BUT, lately she is generally happy and has been sleeping with little fighting. She will protest a little, but ultimately sleep. Cassidy, on the other hand, has been quite fussy the past few evenings and is having a very hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. I cannot just lay her down like I used to, she will just scream at the top of her lungs. I have to rock her, nurse her, cuddle her for up to 30 minutes each night to get her to sleep and then usually repeat at least 2 times before she finally stays asleep. She also has been very clingy, and will cry if anyone (besides Mom or Dad) even looks at her.
Hopefully this is just a short phase and when it is over we will have TWO happy babies! A girl can dream, right?

This is a site for our family and friends to share the joys and challenges of our lives with a nine year old singleton and toddler twins! Our fraternal twin daughters were born on October 23, 2007 via scheduled c-section at 38 weeks weighing in at a healthy 6 lbs. 9 oz.(Candace) and 6 lbs. 3 oz (Cassidy.)

Oh Nicole I think this is just inevitable unfortunately. Or so I think, hey I am still learning too. But mine tend to do this every once in a while. Maybe those teeth are really coming in now?!
